Western Australia

Being the western most state and just about a third of the entire continent of Australia, Western Australia is the furthest state to visit for travelers from North America. But that is not a reason not to go here. With wild flowers blooming in the spring (all over the state), fantastic vineyards to the south, the vibrant city of Perth and the seaport of Freemantle, you soon see the diversity of things to do in this part of Australia. See the massive Whale Shark, swim with the dolphins in Monkey Mia, take a camel caravan across the Outback, and see the world’s only horizontal water falls at Talbot Bay in the Buccaneer Archipelago of northern Western Australia. It is all here with fantastic resorts and B&Bs to soothe the wandering spirit.
